I was cleaning my outside windows on the east side of the house when I discovered this pupa on my window casing. on 2/17/19 it was vacated and a very lethargic butterfly was hanging out on my south facing porch just a few feet away until the 20th. We were having freezing weather in Tucson. My porch was warmer. I do not know that this is the same adult monarch, but there were no others around. I do have pictures of it.
