Monarch looked faded.

I understand your reluctance to include the monarch sighting in your report, since it was so early in the season. I was so shocked to see it, I really couldn't believe my eyes. I'm sure it was a monarch as I have raised and released hundreds of them over the last couple of years. It's wings were faded and worn. We were in our car, heading down an alley and I had my husband back up so I could get a picture, but I couldn't find it again. My friend, who lives 15 miles from Van Wert in Delphos OH, said she had some common milkweed coming up at that time.
A very strange occurrence for sure!
