Robin (Nesting Behavior)

Date: 05/01/2019

Number: 2

A pair of Robins are building a nest in some type of scratchy evergreen that sprung up in my yard a number of years ago. This is the first time I've ever had Robins nest in my yard. It is exciting but I am worried about the neighbors cat. The cat usually doesn't try to climb this tree likely because it is scratchy and difficult to climb and the nest is 10-12 feet above ground. However, if there are babies and they start making noise I'm afraid the cat may try to get up there. Exciting but a worry. I better keep the hose ready for that cat.
