Signs of Spring

Date: 04/30/2019

Number: 1

It was only 1 1/2" from wing tip end to wte. When I was first here (2007), I saw a few, only about 3", although in my life I have seen 4" and above, wte to wte.

I would think it's either a baby that was old enough to start migration, or was something that had a delayed birth up here. Which is possible, as I have noticed decline in the area over the past 10 years (we were very wooded, and that too is disappearing, although I have never seen much milkweed, if any, in the area).

Editor's note: Possible snout
