My first Monarch of the year! Monarch explored my backyard native garden for at least 30 minutes. Rested on a few of my common milkweed plants which are less than 1 foot tall, however. Could not get close enough to determine sex. It appeared to nectar on Trumpet Honeysuckle vine.
