My first Baltimore oriole of the season arrived in my backyard this morning. It was a female who was perched atop a lilac bush at 7:00 am. I placed my grape jelly feeder out for her shortly after that. About an hour later, a newly arrived male Baltimore oriole was visiting the grape jelly feeder. The female oriole joined him at the jelly a few minutes later.
