Adult ruby throated male hummer stopped at nectar feeder this morning and made a pit stop. He took a couple long drinks and moved on. Another adult male showed up in evening and drank for a little over a minute. He perched for a bit and came back and fed for almost 10 minutes. Saw him chasing insects a couple times after that. Both hummers appeared to be in very good shape. This is earliest sighting we have ever had by 2 days. Oakdale Mn.
