Red breasted grosbeaks arrived this morning. Initially, there were 2 males. They arrived at 10:30 AM, and started consuming /enjoying peanut splits and peanut crunch suet at feeders located by the east side of the house. More arrived during the day. This evening, there were 12 in the south garden; consuming vast quantities of sunflower seeds :)

Welcome home, beautiful birds. We’ve been stockpiling several 50 pound bags of sunflower seeds; waiting for you to come home, and nest. May God bless your beautiful presence and your strong, determined, hearts.
