I have seen one Monarch briefly the past two Mondays. Last Monday I saw a Monarch around 4:00 p.m. It flew right by me as I was planting tomatoes. I watched as it flew past staying at eye level until it disappeared. It didn't seem interested in stopping. The one I saw yesterday I first noticed it sitting on a Raspberry Bush around 2:30 p.m. As I moved closer to it I could tell it was an extremely faded Monarch almost translucent it was so faded. As I moved closer to it it flew straight up circling up high in the sky as they do during migration.
