A male Ruby Crowned Kinglet has been scratching around my garden for bugs. Observed him multiple times over the weekend and on back patio on Monday in the rain. Never had one before this weekend, only saw photo in bird book. Crown is more rust than ruby colored but unmistakable. Also had white throated sparrows..look like more common white crowned sparrows except white under chin and a bit of yellow on top of crown. Quite a weekend!
