42 degrees, rain--with more rain predicted throughout the day. 7:45 AM, 2 orioles at the feeder. Our orioles always prefer the old Perky Pet hummingbird feeders without bee guards--so there is a bigger hole to obtain nectar.The fancy oriole feeder is,usually ignored :) but works to add the preferred color of orange to their feeding area. There's also a tall garden urn that has a top over the opening of the urn to make a big, solid, surface for landing and consuming oranges.
