In Calgary, Palliser area near to Glenmore Reservoir. Feeder up on 8 May 2019. At approximately 6:30 pm a very hungry calliope male back and forth to feeder for the next hour or so then fed until dark. Back this morning (May 9), again at noon and heavy feeding 6:00 pm and still at it now at 8:12. No females observed yet and no competition that I can note. Hope he stays, finds a female. He is too fast and a bit too skittish to photograph.
