31 degrees, winds 15 mph, 5:57 AM, first hummer appeared at the HummZinger Mini feeder located by the dining room window, sipped nectar from the feeder and rested on the branch. Hummer number 2 was checking out hyacinth and pachysandra blossums.

At 6 AM, all feeders were washed with hot water and filled with warm nectar. Dogwood trees are flowering, as are numerous Dicentria Luxuriant plants.
