I can confirm by being over 100% positive I saw a monarch this afternoon. I was leaving to get the kids from school and as I was pulling out from my driveway it flew right over my windshield. It couldn't have gotten any closer. I was too excited to get my phone out and take a picture, I just sat there and watched it flutter around.

My son and I also saw a monarch a week and a half ago, but it was further away by the neighbors house so we didn't report it.
