Sightings report image

Date: 05/15/2019

Number: 1

I saw an immature Rose Breasted Grosbeak high in a tree at the Nature Center on a very busy May 15th. It was interesting to see some light blue in its feathers which at first I thought meant it was a hybrid of some kind. I came to the conclusion after seeing other images of immature Rose Breasted Grosbeaks on the internet that its somewhat mottled coloration was rather a sign of the bird's immaturity instead.
