6 AM sometimes our small friends may be lower to the ground--than we expect :) this little guy is perched near his favorite feeder, about 3 feet from the ground on a honeysuckle bush--tucked amongst boxwoods. Perhaps his decision is not happenstance; as it's warmer when he's closer to the ground in the chilly early morning Michigan temperatures.
