Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/24/2019

Number: 5

First of the year on Buffalo's Outer Harbor waterfront, the shores of Lake Erie at the confluence of the lake, the Niagara River strait, and the Buffalo River.

Five adults seen within a few moments. mostly newly blossoming mustard species and Golden Alexanders. No milkweed in this exact vicinity, but there is within 500 yards. I have friends that are posting from local sites that they have eggs.
