first 'wild' caterpillars for me this year. 2 (2nd or 3rd instar) sighted but evidence (crescent shaped holes in leafs) of at least a dozen more that had been on various leaves and are now gone (preyed upon?) or hidden. Young
1" praying mantis present on nearby milkweed plant.
