One female monarch spent over an hour in yard looking like she was laying eggs everywhere!

On closer inspection, her wings were quite tattered, faded, and one wing had several holes and tears.

After she left, I inspected all the milkweed and there were no eggs. (Although she clearly thought she was leaving them under the milkweed leaves).
