Finally spotted the first adult monarch of the year! We knew they had arrived because of finding eggs on our backyard milkweed plants, but hadn't spotted an adult yet until today. (We also saw our first tiger swallowtail yesterday--when the monarchs and swallowtails arrive, we know it's summer!).
