Nectaring on lilac blossoms.

The milkweed in my yard is up. It’s in a south facing flower bed against the house and it’s well over a foot tall. No eggs yet. Last year we had tons of Monarchs and eggs in our yard. They stripped the milkweed bare!

There’s definitely Monarchs around as there’s been a bunch of sightings posted to a Manitoba butterflies and moths Facebook group.
