This is by no means a great picture. I had to turn my ISO up to 1000 and my shutter speed to 1/3200. This was shot with a Tamron 150-600 at 600 mm. Estimated distance about 75 yards. I am convinced it's a Monarch rather than a Viceroy because it was continuously flying over a field of milkweed, and I don't feel like a Viceroy would be inclined to do that. Correct me if I'm wrong.
