Of the 13 eggs collected between 5/30 and 6/2 eleven have hatched and are busy eating. I think they have been laid by the same Monarch I've observed over several days. I think she's working the neighborhood milkweed plants and coming back to check for emerging common milkweed. She totally by passes those plants more than 4 inches tall.
