5:30 pm now mostly cloudy after a beautiful clear day. 22°c with moderate ENE wind at about 30 kmh.
Observed a Monarch arrive from the west and flit at about 20' high a few times around our back & side yard.
Behaviour as patrolling for female. It did not check out flowers or milkweed. It disappeared to the west behind neighbour's house.
