Pilated woodpecker pair continue to visit the peanut suet feeders by the house. On the east suet feeder, they like to fly in and land from the north, so they are on the "backside" of the suet feeder.This provides a big, woodpecker with a little privacy :) But, they are large birds, the suet feeder swings a little bit, providing visual access :) And pilateds quickly consume suet, allowing observers to easily see them as the suet supply diminishes. A pilated can quickly consume a suet cake in one visit
