Front door of a chipmunk's home. Chipmunks are creative and ingenuous when selecting homes, they may be in the ground and are often in a hole of large trees.

This stately, old, oak,has been selected by a young chipmunk. The chipmunk is not in this picture--but the hole at the base of this oak is used as a front door, and there is frequently a small chipmunk face looking out at the world :)
