The common milkweed was very late coming up likely due to our cold weather in May. It has made up for lost time and is appearing all over the yard. I have never had so much milkweed and have actually pulled out a few plants, which were checked for eggs and larvae. It has really taken hold. I noticed that the rabbits are still munching on some of the small common milkweed plants.
