In the milkweed patch, circling and sometimes landing. It's been a really slow year for monarchs here. I have about 100 milkweed plants that I monitor in my yard. This is the first monarch that I have seen circling the sight. Unfortunately, I am surrounded by farm field, with a railroad track on the side where the milkweed grows. I'm slowing moving the plants into the flowerbeds where I can shelter them.
