Sightings report image

Date: 06/18/2019

Number: 1

Today is the first warm, sunny, day that we've had in a week. The habitat area surrounding our home is hosting 6 yellow swallowtail butterflies, visiting orange impatients, citrus lantana, salvia, and St John's wort.

In the wild corridor of the northwest pasture daisies, rosin weed, wild yarrow, wild peas, and wild berries are in bloom, and there are large, swaths of common milkweed: This morning there are 6 monarchs, and 5 yellow swallow tails enjoying balmy temperatures, sunshine and flowers in the corridor.
