I found her in the street on her back with both front wings sitting behind her back wings. I fixed the placement of her wings and put her in my butterfly enclosure and proceeded to offer native flowers and sugar water. She has eaten from both. Her wings are faded and are not of a new butterfly but they aren’t missing chunks or quite as faded as my Mexico migratory. She doesn’t fly well and is weak. My plan is to observe her, feed her and if possible release her. If not I’ll keep her comfortable until her life is over.
