Stumbled upon them by accident, was cleaning my pond and had broken the milkweed from the base, went to toss it as i have not seen any monarchs, instinct kicked in to look it over to be safe and upon closer inspection 2 newly hatched caterpillars!! So i proceeded to check the remainder of my plants to find 1 more newly hatched caterpillar.
