We saw Monarchs daily in the Rainy River area June 5 – 8. On June 6 I saw a female laying an egg on a milkweed shoot at the top end of Fred’s Road (the “Rail marsh”). I collected the egg and it is currently a healthy 1.5 cm caterpillar in my terrarium.
