I have been waiting patiently checking the milkweed daily for eggs. This morning I saw a monarch flutter over the house but had to leave. I told my husband who was home and he sat patiently all afternoon and was able to count at least three monarchs nectaring in the milkweed garden. Weather was 23C light SE winds and partly cloudy. They stayed for about an hour. Later on my return home I found five eggs which I will report separately.
