My first adults sighted this summer (I saw a 4th instar caterpillar last week on a neighbor’s milkweed, so I know they’ve been around, but I had yet to spot one, despite constantly being on the lookout for them). Saw two adults flitting around together in an open field near my house. One of them, a male, stopped to nectar on some milkweed. Couldn’t tell sex of the other since it didn’t stop!
