Counted ~200 common milkweed stems and 18 larvae along a 500 foot section of sunny road through grass, brush and mixed hardwood forest. One milkweed had 4 larvae.

Milkweed plants are young, about 10-20" tall. Phenology of many plants in northern WI delayed this year.
