I have not sent in many reports this year due to health reasons. Today was at kitchen feeder looking out & saw a mature make Black-chinned flying to feed. He never did sit. He looks like he is already beginning to pack on some weight. This was at 2pm. Later I saw 2 hummers chasing each other near same feeder. We have both the Ruby-throat & BC. I think the Ruby Male could be guarding feeder at kitchen since there is a small oak tree w has been a look-out point 4 many hummers over the years. We also have female BC & RT. Having 2 change feeders every 2 days. Dont look 4ward to triple digit weather requiring daily sugar H20 changes.
