I saw a monarch in my backyard at 11 a.m. About 1 p.m., I saw a monarch in my neighbor's yard. I don't know if it was the same one or a second one. It was a sunny day (Santa Cruz is coastal and just getting into 70 degree weather), and we live near a eucalpytus grove.
