First sighting of Monarch for the season.
Butterfly, was feeding off swan milkweed, no eggs early this morning around 10 am.
When I first tied to snap a photo, it left.
Later, around 2:30PM the monarch returned to the same milkweed and fed. No eggs laid. Didn’t stay long, despite other food sources, it just fed on milkweed.
