Lots of Monarchs today. Saw the female ovipositing this morning. Unsure how many are repeats but just saw 5 males at the same time! All intensely nectaring on our Common MW blossoms & across the road on thistle blossoms. All flitting west.
Premigratory behaviour (which was observed last year on July 6th at Tip at Point Pelee journeying south over Lake Erie)
