Eastern Phoebe resting on the dogwood branch. Sunshine, steamy, 92 degrees. At 3:50 PM, several birds were lining up in this tree, to enjoy the shallow, clay, saucer bird bath that is situated below this branch: The Eastern Phoebe, a Tit Mouse,and Mr and Mrs Rosebreasted grosbeak each took turns in the birdbath.
Yesterday, 3:50 PM was the "magical hour" for bird bathing activity too:)
