Released two monarchs, one female and one male. The female hatched first, at 8:10 a.m. After a couple of minutes she fell and was trying to climb back up but I couldn't wait for that so i put my finger in the container and she climbed on board. She hung onto my finger for about an hour before I transferred her to a mesh cube. I let her continue to dry inside then moved the cube to a sunny location outside. She was very active by 12:30pm so I let her out and she flew up and away.
