I have a Monarch way station with lots of milkweed and nectar sources. After seeing the first 2 on July 6, I have been seeing others (or the same ones ?!) almost daily. I'm thinking that maybe I should volunteer to tag wild monarchs to help keep track. Not sure what to make of all the data on the website re the majority of first sightings are in the 2nd half of May? Which way are the monarchs I'm now seeing headed? How do I know if they are starting to got south again, or are here mating?
