Barret Nature Preserve off of Long Cove Road in Gales Ferry. There are two large milkweed patches here. I have looked for years but never seen monarchs here until this year. These two cats I saw on milkweed closest to the shed in the back of the field. (Also closest to the neighbor who has recently started gardening.) I brought one home, went back for the other one the next day but I could not find it.
