Blue Lobelia, perennial native, planted this spring--plants were shipped from Prairie Nursery, in Wisconsin. Attracts hummingbirds.

While walking we've seen 12 monarchs today, in various places. Yesterday it was stormy with high heat, humidity and rain. The monarchs started apparing in the pasture at 8:15 AM nectaring on various wild flowers.
