Sunny, 78F, windy. Two monarchs were flying around the milkweed garden this afternoon. One very faded female was laying many eggs. Unable to determine the gender of the second, but it was much more brightly colored. In this location, it is rare to see a single monarch butterfly, let alone two at the same time. Way Station 9418
