I had 2 Monarchs around my 5 milkweed plants this afternoon. They appeared to be challenging each other at first. Then they both began to lay eggs on the plants. Sometimes at the same time and other times one at a time. This went on and off for close to 2 hours. After checking the plants later, there were indeed eggs laid on the underside of multiple leaves. I was quite surprised I was able to attract any this year as my plants are new this Spring and they were not very big.
