Started the day with beauty! A Perfect small Swallowtail sighted on milkweed flowers and a rose. This one has both tails , is smaller and perfect. Is not the same one that I saw yesterday. It probably has recently "hatched". wonder why some are BIG as my hand and others are smaller, half the size of my open hand?

the attached photo is of the larger SW that I saw on Monday 7-22. This looks like it is a TIGER Swallowtail. the one sighted this morning was not. Maybe that is why there is a difference in size?
