Weather: Partly cloudy. Humid, 77-degrees, calm. There’s a flash-flood warning, but so far, no storm clouds. NOAA reported Los Alamos Airport had 0.7” on 07/25.

It had ragged wings, but was flying well. Lit briefly on the butterfly bush at about 9’ before flying up over the roof of my 2-story house. I have petunias on my my deck—it didn’t seem interested. The neighbors have lilies, but the butterfly flew north toward scruffy little houses on my street without gardens or even nice yards.
