I checked out the planting done last summer along the bluff at Cherokee park. The work was done by volunteers with Friends of the Mississippi. I thought maybe I'd see a few plants had taken and was surprised to see a field of wildflowers. I saw black eyed Susan, monarda, swamp milkweed, common milkweed and more plants I am unable to identify.
