It is hot and sunny with a dew point of 69 and the garden is humming. There are all kinds of butterflies, bees and other strange insects out there. I saw a very faded low flying female feeding on Zinnia then laying eggs all over the place. She laid eggs on the common milkweed, swamp milkweed and butterfly weed. I also saw a very small but fresh looking monarch buzzing the yard. This little monarch even went after a Eastern Black Swallow Tail that was feeding on a cone flower plant this little monarch wanted to itself.
